Abstract:

In this article, the Chairman of Bulgaria’s State Agency for Civil Protection describes recent accomplishments and plans for implementation of information and communications technologies in support of emergency management activities in a multi-agency and international setting. A particular emphasis is placed on IT and organizational arrangements to increase radiological safety.
